How to Start Your First Typing Test
Welcome to Typing Torrent! This guide will walk you through starting your first typing test and help you understand the basics.
Quick Start
- Navigate to the Homepage
Go to the main page (/) where you'll see the typing test interface.
- Choose Your Test Duration
Select from 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, or unlimited time.
- Select a Test Mode
Choose between Words, Sentences, or Paragraphs mode.
- Set Difficulty Level
Pick Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced based on your skill level.
- Click "Start Test"
Begin typing when the test starts. Type the words exactly as shown.
Understanding the Test Interface
- •Text Display: The text you need to type appears at the top
- •Input Field: Type in the text area below
- •Timer: Shows remaining time (if duration is set)
- •WPM Counter: Displays your current words per minute
- •Accuracy: Shows your typing accuracy percentage
